crocheting! I see so many people making baby clothes by crocheting, and they are just sooooo adorable! I saw last week at A.C Moore starter kit type of things to make baby clothes, etc and I should have bought it! I just saw THE cutest baby boy jacket that a friend crocheted for another friend and it is sooooo precious!
Does anyone out there that follows my blog crochet? If so, where should I get started?

No i dont but I have ALWAYS wanted to learn how too. Let us know how it all turns out
I do, but I am not good enough to make clothes. I stick to baby blankets usually (although they end up being the size of a twin bedspread when I a finished, lol). I learned by using one of those kits. It just takes a LOT of practice to get the tension right at first, so dont start off with a sweater right away. Make some wash-cloths or small swatches first until you get the hang of it.
It's very easy actually, but don't start with baby clothes - start with something simple like a blanket so you can practice first on different types designs. You might want to start with thicker yarn so it's easier to handle before you go to more delicate items like lace.
I think I may hit up AC Moore or Michael's for their classes, that way if I do something wrong, they can correct me.
I think first I'll get a book or a starter kit and go from there and see how I do.
And yes, I hear from a few of you that clothes can be a pain for beginners, so I'm gonna start small :)
Thanks all!
